Glossy obsidian vinyl. One amber eye that catches the room. The first piece of the series — quiet, attentive, alone.
VAULT 47 is a quiet archive of blind-box collector toys — small numbered sculptures sealed in matte black cases, released in drops of 250 and never reprinted.
Each figure in Series 01 is a small ceramic, vinyl, resin or brass sculpture — designed in the studio, finished by hand, then sealed inside a matte case so the buyer becomes the first viewer.
Glossy obsidian vinyl. One amber eye that catches the room. The first piece of the series — quiet, attentive, alone.
Slip-cast porcelain with a 22k gold-leaf kintsugi seam. Faceless on purpose — the crack is the face.
Cast in amber resin with suspended gold flake. Hold it to a window and the bear lights from within.
A sealed acrylic capsule containing a single random figure from the entire VAULT 47 catalogue. Wax-stamped, never opened by us.
High-gloss crimson vinyl, hand-poured. Pointed and patient. The loudest object in any quiet room.
Sand-cast brushed brass with hand-engraved geometry. Will patina with handling — it remembers its owner.
Most collectibles shout from a shelf. Ours wait inside a black case, numbered, weighed, and sealed. The first viewer is always the buyer. The second viewer is whoever they choose to show. There is no third.
A small ceremony. Four steps from the studio to your hand — slow on purpose, because the unboxing is half of the work.
Each figure is hand-stamped with its position in the edition: 001 through 250. After 250, the mold is broken.
The piece is placed inside a matte black case lined with archival foam, sealed with red wax, and never opened by us.
Your name and the figure's number are entered into the VAULT 47 ledger. You receive a paper certificate signed in pencil.
The case ships in a plain kraft sleeve. No branding outside. The first time anyone opens it should be you, alone.
Things buyers ask before pulling a capsule, claiming a number, or joining the keyholders list.
Every figure ships sealed inside a matte black case. We never publish photographs of the finished sculpture from every angle — only one editorial shot. The full piece is revealed when you open it. Once opened, a piece cannot be returned.
No. After the 250th piece of any edition leaves the vault, the mold, the wax stamp and the ledger page are physically destroyed and photographed for the archive. Series 01 is Series 01, forever.
An acrylic capsule, wax-sealed, contains one random figure from the entire VAULT 47 catalogue — including past and present series. Some are common. Some are €600 pieces sold for €96. We do not track which capsule contains which figure.
Keyholders (newsletter members) may request a number when reserving a piece. We honour requests in order received. Number 001, 047 and 250 of every series are held for our private archive.
Worldwide, from a studio in Antwerp. Pieces are wrapped in cotton, slipped into a kraft sleeve, and sent with tracked, insured shipping. Customs forms describe the contents as "art object — sealed."
Drops are announced 48 hours in advance, by email only. No social posts. No second chances. About six letters per year — quiet, hand-written, never resold.
